Media – Your Choice
The “surface test” concept will require you to choose an alternative surface to draw upon. This can be anything you have at home, magazine, newspaper, cardboard, etc.
You will need to glue down your surface into your journal book, using two pages.
You may choose to draw any subject or object on your surface.
You may use any media you have available.
The surface examples below are just examples of different surfaces to use for this assignment. Be creative and can't wait to see all your art.

“Assemble Line” journal assignment can be interpreted literally, for example an actual product that is manufactured on an assembly line. An actual drawing of multiple products repeated on an assembly line.
Think about repetition, how the same shape, object or subject is exactly like each other.

The “structure” concept visual art assignment is open to personal interpretation.
It can be a literal architectural structure for example a building structure or bridge. It maybe a personal structure, like what keeps you structured or provides a personal foundation in your live. Another perspective that can be explored is the human cell structure.
Below are several examples of art work that address the “structure” concept.
